Review into the Consolidation Rights to Future Income and Residual Tax Cost Setting Rules
The Acting Chairman of the Board of Taxation, Mr Chris Jordan AO, today announced that the Board is inviting submissions for its review into the consolidation rights to future income and residual tax cost setting rules.
The review was announced by the Assistant Treasurer today. The press release announcing the Board’s review and the terms of reference are available on the Assistant Treasurer’s website.

Given the short time frame provided to the Board for this review, the closing date for submissions is Wednesday 20 April 2011. Submissions should take into account the terms of reference provided to the Board. The Board will also consider whether it necessary to provide additional guidance material to clarify the issues which stakeholders should address in their submissions.
